Because HBDYM is an epilogue. It takes place outside of the narrative of the show which concludes with Bad Romance.

That’s why she’s not in a real costume or glam. It’s not a part of the story but rather her presenting herself as just as herself. Gaga and Mayhem merged and now here is the woman that exists on the other end.

i guess we'll see what she does for Toronto night 1 (sept 10th) if she adds it to the setlist proper, or just decides to play it at the curtain call like last night

She has spent so much of her career exceeding the theatrical standards for artists and has been so known for her over-the-top performances... It's such a moment where she reminds us she is still just a human like us and she is having a great time touring this show with her friends. The song HBDUWM wasn't my favorite, but I started to really like the song after seeing how it was used at the end of the tour

The final song is my fav part of the tour because it looks "like a rehearsal" like you say, even though its doesn't really look like a rehearsal lol 

In the past gaga was always weary of showing her true self, she isn't anymore and most fans can appreciate it.

Hell, I probably liked more watching her Copabacana rehearsal the day before than he actual show lmaoo

That was such a special moment I'll treasure forever, the show was one of the greatest days of my life, but arriving at Copacabana beach and exactly 5 minutes later Gaga and the dancers appearing at the screen while clapping... wow! Out of this world experience!

And it's clear that Gaga felt how special this moment was now that she's doing at the end of every show, it's sad some people can't connect and see how great this part of the show is, all because of a beanie lol
