2025 Professional Category MTV Video Music Award (VMA) for Best Direction goes to Abracadabra Directors: Lady Gaga, Parris Goebel, and Bethany Vargas

Also '25 Professional VMA for Best Art Direction goes to Abracadabra Art Director Wesley Goodrich. These categories are not voted on by the public (whatever that means, MTV) but rather chosen by industry professionals.

Queen! I didn’t watch the show but according to Wikipedia she won 4 Awards: Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Direction and Best Art Direction.  (Abracadabra)

This is a GREAT precursors award for the Grammys. I know we are all upset Paris lost best choreography, but this award right here is like the equivalent of Best Picture. And no, VOTY doesn’t have the same weight because it’s fan voted. Best Direction on the other hand is a professionally voted category, so it works more similar to how the Grammys might with a smaller committee but with experts instead of fans. This means actual industry people believe Abra is deserving of videography awards.
