Wasn’t crazy about the wig (I get what they were going for, but I don’t really think it paid off) and agreed that the instrumentation was a bit busy but, worst of all was the failure to properly filter out crowd noise. Genuinely could barely hear the orchestral intro.

It was not that they failed to filter the crowd nosie, they ADDED it in and it was actually cringy :cryga:

I’ve watched too many DVDs and recorded concerts to notice which crowd noise is real or not tbh. Like Copacabana was ****ing phenomenal, you could feel the wave of cheers through the screen. Brazil crew did not play with that show :oohrightthereyeah:

I loved her performance! :firega:

Off topic: I hope that the day they give her the Vanguard they also give her more than 6 minutes to perform... She has so many hits and songs that should've been hits :nooo:

I noticed the fake added crowd too lol. They favored it over the orchestral intro probably to give the feeling people were going bat-**** crazy over her, which honestly is a good thing because that exactly what people watching at home will think and be like "damn Lady Gaga really had the most energetic performance of the night"

I thought I was the only one who noticed that. They (MTV) didn’t even fix the volume before airing it, the rest of the show (VMAs) was much louder

Loved TDD, but omg she adores Abracadabra. I think she performed it in all of her televised performances. It truly is the Bad Romance of this decade and it deserves the world.

The fake crowd cheering is the only negative **** about this performance. It's literally so annoying and ruined my hangover experience watching this amazing performance

What an awesome performance :firega: Both visually and sonically pleasing, simply a delight to witness. She does sound a bit "smoother" and slightly more "on pitch" in a few spots than on fan recordings, though that could just be the professional recording and mastering vs crappy smartphone microphones. The Dead Dance is so damn catchy, and even played right after her majesty Abracadabra it doesn't sound any less amazing :queenga:

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.

i just wish they did more varied choreo

the zombie movements are used way too often - i just want more diverse movements.
