Tbh I would find it more interesting if it kept that haunting trancey vibe from the beginning and a more unique chorus. At least trance would be a different sound that isn't really on Mayhem.

OR, more of the synths that are in the "creature of the night" part of the second verse.

I love the instrumental, production. The lyrics are ok, but the post-chorus is so repetitive ddd

At the end of the day - monsters box Gaga in more than the general public. 
 

Everyone hates HBDYWM for example - meanwhile songs like Eh Eh exist all the way back to The Fame. 
 

Gaga does multiple genres multiple ways - while I don’t think the video is a slay - this is Gaga, The Dead Dance has a killer chorus with the “killed me inside - came alive-“ section. 

Not everything has to be BTW/Fame Monster and not every single has to be your personal choice. 
 

I say eat while the getting is good. I remember the droughts.

It fits Gaga, it fits MAYHEM, it fits Wednesday, it fits the viral Bloody Mary version, it is very in line with the music of campy Horror shows like the Addams Family & the Munsters.. It is a good song for what it is. A goodfy fun campy Halloween bop.
