as someone who kinda grew out of the whole pop culture thing and i dont really know most of the new girlies cause they dont seem to be that big outside of their bubble, sabrina is the one where i can actually see why she is becoming succesfull

Yeah tò me Sabrina Is much bigger than Olivia.  big demographic appeal. I don't really Need news here tò know She released something. Well maybe this album, but last era was so popular, i would get news of her everyday, se would pop up in my radio etc. All the others basically live in that bubble

honestly they are neck and neck they both are pop phenoms but provide something diff and that makes them such good counterparts to each other

On the topic of Olivia vs. Sabussy

I can't help but feel like sabrina is treading closer and closer into katy perry territory - her earlier albums, like katy, were more personal and had a more varied subject matter, and with SNS/MBF, she's entering her TD/Prism era of kinda just doing the same bubblegum pop thing, with her image being that she's sexy. This is working great for now but I think her next album will need to shift toward something else or she may risk the katy perry effect. However, unlike katy, she seems to actually have a big core fanbase which will help with her longevity. 

 

Olivia definitely feels more like a gaga, in the way that she had such an explosive debut, then evolved her sound with her next era into something more niche. As far as Billboard charts and pop radio go, sabrina from now on will probably have more success than olivia, but olivia has if not, a bigger fanbase that will sustain her career for much much longer it seems.

yeah this whole man centered whether it be commentary or just being boy crazy is only going to last for so long

 

with this coming after SnS peeps are rly going to watch for what she does after this will tell whether she is a katy or a gaga

Interestingly as well, people seemed actually upset that she was releasing so soon after SNS, with the albums coming exactly one year apart (rihanna teas)

I guess nowadays we tend to see major albums once every two years so I do wonder if she risks overexposure.

it’s crazy that peeps are so used to that timeline when we had mariah releasing an album year after year 

 

i just worry sabrina is going to get overworked and doesn’t take proper breaks she needs to take time for herself at least

I’m so happy for Sabrina. She has been in the business for so long and finally is getting the spotlight she deserves. Why wouldn’t she be pulling out all stops? She’s a hard worker. The haters sound like Madonna fans when Gaga was getting big. Why can’t we be excited for both?
