The Dead Dance is a solid bop and miss Gaga Gabe everyone two options: dance or die. I'm dancing Dance until you're dead. We understand the assignment. Every time Gaga releases new music or a MV, there are always complaints. I already get enough negativity in my daily life, and I come to music for joy and comfort. But instead of feeling uplifted, I sometimes feel more stressed when I read all these toxic comments. Gaga releases art, and some of you release negativity. At this point, it feels like some fans enjoy tearing things down more than enjoying music. If I wanted this much negativity, I’d just read the news instead of coming here. girl fr and it spills over to like everyone else it’s like whose music are we suppose to enjoy? because unless it’s done in a v specific way people do not want it

Bronco 11,997
I do think the negativity gets a bit hysterical at times on here - as does the positivity as well. But if you're expecting a fan site where people don't have negative opinions of the relevant artist's work - I'm afraid that will never happen and nor should it. Its totally normal to not be on board with everything an artist puts out and as long as people are respectful with each other about what they like and dislike (justice for Dont call tonight) then there shouldn't be an issue. 6

Shadow 6,637
Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words can never hurt you (unless you let it). You don't need to be in an echo chamber with euphoric people to enjoy music. You are here because you enjoyed the music or one of her performances in the first place. This isn't about the music or even Lady Gaga anymore, but more about peer pressure. Be you and stand by what you like. If other people don't like it, oh well. Stand in the light, cast your shadow. 2 1

It's just like when people on here in 2024 were saying that they could be transphobic against Sam Smith just because "gay people don't have to like a musician because they are gay". Me laughing at a claim I find ridiculous is not bullying. The original post you quoted was also not bullying. That user said everyone should be allowed to express their opinion and in no way did it imply including hate speech.

I’d imagine this is heaven, you poor poor girl

Cavadour 2,408
Anyway, as some guy named Jules Claretie (1840-1913) said it someday : " Any person who leads, who does something, has against him those who would like to do the same, those who do precisely the opposite, and above all the great army of people who are all the more severe because they do nothing at all. What I meant was that the post excuses people who are posting mean stuff even if it wasn't the intention. Like the people that are trying to discredit her by falsely claiming AI, thinking she has lost it because of a tiktok dance they don't like, and a lot of people weighing The Dead Dance and her career solely on numbers instead of her personal worth. he/him/his
Ashley 9,562
Honestly I’ve been visiting her subreddit more these days. It’s a little more of a positive environment and not as many trolls. There is still some critical posts obviously, because we won’t like everything Gaga puts out and that’s okay (I didn’t like the Dead Dance video that much) but it seems like in a more respectful way over there.
