There was extreme lightning, I was literally in GA sitting while the rain was pouring on me. It was very dangerous, she absolutely had to cancel. And regardless the venue is the one that notified her while she was in the middle of performing to stop due to severe weather.

Yeah, you were getting wet two hours before she came out and said the show was over but that's it

Guarantee had they not messed up not checking the wrist bands when they let everyone back in she would have finished the show

They’re saying Gaga would never cancel a tour performance to save her voice for a TV appearance, not that Gaga has never had to prematurely cancel tours.

Also: lbr CBT was basically complete aside from having cancel the last show due to severe weather.

lms love to complain and look at what they don't have but none of the 2000's ladies are doing this, some won't even perform at awards shows or give visuals at all... I'm so so grateful

I mean barely. We were outside at our car within ten minutes of the announcement and the ground was literally dry

There was an issue with the USA v England rugby match this summer where it had to be delayed starting, then they paused mid match as well because of lightning strikes within a 10km radius. And then they weren't allowed to resume again until there had been 30 minutes without a recorded lightning strike within the 10km radius of the stadium. 
That is due to the sport governing body rules, but I wouldn't be surprised if there may be similar stipulations with insurance for outdoor events. 

This was also the case at Ultra Music Festival in Miami last year so I’m sure it’s a rule for all outdoor events.

That was a rumor floating around on Twitter but given her history with cancellations, this one doesn't track. Looking at her past cancellations/postponements you know it had to be urgently serious for her to not go on stage. This is the same woman that literally fought to keep her show in Jakarta going during the BTWB Tour and even said she'd do the show herself without any dancers to avoid putting them in danger after all the death threats she and her team got. She'll be okay after a few days rest, but if people are claiming she did this to create hype around the VMA's I wouldn't give it much attention.

Omg stop talking about the Miami show... just watch it on YouTube and stop complaining. It's also being rescheduled, not cancelled. She shouldn't even have to apologize, if I were her I would tell fans to deal with it.
