Lady Gaga postpones Miami show 9/3/25

This, it’s entirely possible to be supportive of her and her decision, while also mourning something we saved our money, took time off work, and traveled for. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

I think a lot of us had this worry when the tour schedule dropped, and was a big reason for a lot of fans' hopes that she'd pick stadiums instead of arenas. As others have said, this is her most intensive tour since the artRAVE, and it's no surprise that her body isn't used to it. Even if ENIGMA was also very intense, she didn't have the travel to deal with.

Love to all the fans who were supposed to be there, and I'm hoping you'll be able to make the rescheduled show! As someone who's travelled out of town for a cancelled show before, I know what a nightmare it is, so I hope you can still make the best of your night in Miami!

I wonder if this is something that is treated with medicine (not instantly of course) or if she just has to be silent and hydrated for a long time.

Believe me, I get it. This is one of the reasons I won’t travel solely for a show, as live performance always carries a risk of cancellation or delay.

 

I hope you can still make a fun night out of it. Go do something fun for yourself, you’re in Miami.

But that doesn’t mean that someone else might find it insensitive or that they have to be uttered the minute our fave announces she has a vocal strain and vocal cord issues can quite literally end careers. There’s a time and a place for everything. There’s also a big difference between being disappointed and calling the situation “comedy”. I might have gotten frustrated too quickly but I’m certainly not gonna be gaslit into thinking every single comment in here is appropriate or sensitive to Gaga’s health and career

Depends on the kind of vocal strain, typically if it’s just inflammation of the chords it takes a couple of days of vocal rest and therapy, steroids as well can help…. This is why I’m not super super on her I mean she can’t do anything in a situation like this, she is making the right decision. I pray that she recovers and that she is able to reschedule and continue the momentum.

 Depends. If it's mild or medium, it gonna take few days to up to two weeks to heal. If it's really bad it can take few months. 

With that in mind, she will likely going to postpone the next shows too imho

She could use steroids for inflammation, she probably has some course of medicine of the such to help with her fibro... but otherwise its silence and hydration. I'm a vocalist myself and tbh I haven't fully recovered since seeing her at night one in MSG because I was screaming so much lol. I can't imagine how she handles that entire set and sounds as amazing as she does

It's not just money.  It's time as well.  The fan may not be able to get time off work or they may have a major commitment on the rescheduling date.

It is what it is.  Nobody (I hope) wants her to destroy her voice and have to cancel the whole tour, but I totally get the pain of ticket holders.

Vocalist here- She sounded like her voice was getting strained from some videos of the first night in Miami, and not to mention her signature screams she does- I'm sure she had to postpone because there was absolutely no way she could sing without it being painful, if she was already sounding strained a couple days ago. 

But she has probably one of the best teams, and thank god she is listening to medical/coaching advice so that she can continue the tour soon
