She could stop performing a surprise song and remove love game. That would give her voice more rest and would be least upsetting to the fans

It's unfortunate, but it's the right decision. Prioritizing her health is the most important and you can't be mad at her for that. Hopefully she recovers soon and Miami gets their show rescheduled asap. It must be extra devastating since I'm sure she would've performed The Dead Dance for the first time too.

The weird thing is she let fans know so late while they were already in seats but she knew the night before making the decision. I guess she didn’t wanna ruin the promo of the video drop as bad as it sounds. She probably has a promo team making decisions for her

Thanks for taking the time to explain that, it really does make sense! I think it was just how Gaga worded it, saying she knew the night before. Letting fans know once they were already seated just felt like such short notice and honestly a bit cruel.

I’m sure a lot of these calls come from her promo team, and pairing the shocking news with a new video drop today probably wasn’t the best timing. Ultimately Gaga’s such a huge enterprise now that I’m sure management had a big hand in how it played out! We sometimes forget she’s on a label and had responsibilities and how promo is handled.

Yes I'm guessing the sudden shift in weather, if she just came from NYC where the weather has already been a bit cooler... I also bet the excitement about a new song coming out was keeping her up and could have had an impact

Yes its unfortunate, a big part of me also thinks the extra work she does to prepare the surprise songs played a role in the vocal strain. I'm sure she spends about 2 days going over how she wants to sing the song/play the piano- so in addition to rehearsals for the usual setlist and singing through it, the sudden change in surprise songs may have caused her to overdo it.

she and her team wanted to keep her costs down, which is fair, but in turn limited tickets which makes the tour inaccessible to a lot of fans, and now we see her having to do 2-3 arena tours 1-2 days apart to make up for one stadium date is really not a smart idea.

Unfortunately, this was bound to happen... Too many dates, she sings 2 h 15 m live every night and the songs are very demanding. Hope she recovers soon.

This might be good. Worst case scenario is she has to do what she did at the Monsterball 2.0 where every song except for acoustics was her (mostly) dodging certain vocals (like in Paparazzi).

Poor Gaga. All I can think about is how upset she was when she had to stop the TCB show in Miami two years ago (how she cried on stage when she announced it, and then in the insta video she posted shortly after). She is probably just as upset tonight or more and I hope she knows we love her and want her to take care of herself first and foremost. Wishing her a speedy recovery <3 I hope many of us can make the rescheduled show.

I have fibro and definitely feel effects, especially a sore throat, when I switch between climates.
