It’s actually quite the commentary on how society’s taste has become so watered down.  There’s much less interest in anyone willing to push the envelope/expand artistic expression, and more interest in the plain and mundane - something that feels more “every man,” simple and unoffensive in any way.

The same crybaby white girl writing Disney Channel nursery rhymes about her boyfriends all while scamming money from fans and intentionally blocking younger artists from achieving chart success. She's like a little pig dancing for her bacon, yuck. I cannot understand why anyone would like her or her music.
