I dont mean in a bad way. What im trying to say is, theres no major ups and downs for me with this album, its super stable. I like everyone song on this album... yet none of my favs are from Chromatica

Most albums have 1 or 2 songs I dont care for. Not the case with Chromatica, i like every song... ironically its also an album with no Gaga fav song

If I were to list my top 20 Gaga songs, theyd mostly be from TF, TFM, BTW, ASAB and Mayhem. None would be from Chromatica... but i dislke none

My least fav Chormatica songs would be a 7/10... my fav maybe an 8/10... for most Gaga albums the worst songs would be a 6/10 but my fav songs a 9/10 or even 9.5/10

Just something I found interesting to realize. Id have a hard time ranking album tracks cuz I dislike none and im not in love with any either. They are all just "pretty good to me" :ladyhaha:

Personally, I found Chromatica to be full of highs and emotional depth. Songs like 911, Sine From Above, and especially Replay hit me really hard, both musically and lyrically. For me, it’s far from flat — it’s a rollercoaster in the best way. I think the album's strength lies in how it blends dance music with some pretty heavy themes.

i agree 100%. there isn't a song on Chromatica i don't like, it's a solid album, but in my Gaga rankings it's 4th. BTW, ARTPOP, and MAYHEM all have higher highs even if there are a few songs on each i don't care for as much.

It's lukewarm music, but at least it has a consistent "sound" throughout

Strabgely i think this of mayhem. I like every Song but if She'd be hit by a car, i wouldn't risk my Life for mayhem. Like i would even for arrepop.

At the end of the day i think became very invested with 911 the most. But chroma for me, really have some songs i don't like One bit.

Even Joanne im less indifferent then those two albums. Cest la vie..

I think Replay and Babylon are discography highlights, 911 is a notable standout. The rest are good songs but I don't go back to them very often.

it's the production made me hate this album so much especially Plastic Doll, Free Woman

I could have not said it better.

Rain on Me, Sine From Above, Replay, 911, even the undeservably hated Fun Tonight... it is far from being flat, more like a crazy emotional ride

I loved Chromatica at the time. But I feel like its been aged badly by the release of Mayhem.

Contextually, Chromatica came after we hadn't had "popGa" in nearly a decade. It hit the addiciton we all needed to feed.

But now we've had Mayhem? Now Chromatica feels like the dollar store discount brand coke and Mayhem is the glass bottled mexican coke.

It's very consistent but idk

Chromatica had some really high highs for me, like 911 and Alice

Very true actually, I feel a similar way. I don’t dislike a single song on the album and they’re all good tracks, but I feel that what we know behind the scenes (such as the demos of Babylon and FW, the fact that Gaga didn’t seem to actually enjoy the process, the scrapped plans due to covid, bloodpop in some cases) have tainted aspects of the album

I feel I’d enjoy free woman a lot more if we never heard the demo of it that could’ve led to an amazing version of the song, and I think the same for Babylon
