Controversiaga 11,483
One Gaga thing that still baffles me to this day…is the missing second verse for Alice.. wtf were they thinking?????!! “HOW CAN WE KEEP THIS SONG UNDER 3 MINUTES!!!!!!!!” ?????????? Alice is one of the best songs on chromatica, but sadly one of the only songs in her entire discography that doesn’t follow the typical song structure of having a second verse!!!! I understand pushing boundaries and not following the rules and being creative when it comes to song structures - but this feels more like following trends of making songs less than 3 minutes long so my final question - would Alice have been BETTER or WORSE with a second verse???????? Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga” 7
BELLYACHE 1,327
Alice is the only GREAT song on Chromatica and I don’t think it would have worked well with a 2nd verse tbh 1 1
jacs vs looser 4,334
I think the song definitely deserved to be longer, having the "oh ma-ma-ma, oh ma-ma-ma" only once is criminal. 2
zzbrandon 98
i think this song is so cheap cliche even for a teenage girl artist 4 1

ceminay 1,088
I love Alice, mostly because it's so simple. It's short and the production isn't crazy, but it just works. 2 1

This has been my complaint about Alice since day 1. Alice ranks so low for me solely bc it feels incomplete. ChvVolk 2,355
Every song on Chromatica could've been longer. They should've committed to the 90s house full on and let the tracks feel like one amazing dj set 4
