The two SF shows have resales and occasionally some Platinum Seats for $750 each. I want to go but don’t really wanna spend $250 for a behind the stage nosebleed.

 

If this would allow people to buy a ticket at a reasonable price then I fully support stadiums shows. It was a nightmare (and not The Beautiful Nightmare That Knows MY Name) trying to get Mayhem Ball tickets. Even last minute, there were very few resale tickets and the prices just wouldn’t go down.
 

Scalpers have ruined the experience and then Ticketmaster pretty much allows them to.

P!nk's managed 2 stadium tours during eras where her sales have been way down from her peak of the Funhouse & Truth About Love eras. 

If anything, I think its easier to tour larger venues now for mainstream acts because going to tours is now such a big thing even for casual crowds.

Yeah maybe thats true im not sure? J.lo couldnt sell tickets, and I think Dua's career is heading that way. PArtists like P!nk and Katy Perry are more established and have mega hits for decades, its different from someone like Dua. And I think P!nk shows do good because they know she will do crazy stunts.

She is nice, has nice music but she is not on a level of Gaga, Bey, Tay... Yes FN was a very good album but I do not see Dua selling out a stadium with, in my opinion, a basic concert/ music

Jlo had a lot of negative press swirling around her tbf which didn't help.

I do agree Dua is nowhere near as established as others. But at the very least on a UK/Eu touring front I think she can continue stadium shows.

Dua's career has been going on for 10 years now and her audience numbers have only been increasing since then... Seeing how fast other new artist who debuted way after her perform in arenas and stadiums having only one or two albums is insane.

Maybe she goes down the P!nk route, not having the biggest numbers but having a name that is known for putting on a quality show. And she does that while still growing and improving.

She is a showwoman who is able to do different things. Just listen to her Royal Albert Hall concert... she might not show everything at once all the time but I think we can expect more surprises and fresh things from her than from other artists who are bigger than her (at the moment).

I can see her becoming a zennial Kylie Minogue. 

Not the most ground breaking or unique pop act. But someone that is a reliable pop act who you can guarantee will give regular party floor fillers and doesn't take themselves too seriously.

I'll give it to her, her performance abilities have increased since her debut but after watching her Wembley performance, I can say it's nowhere near the best pop tour right now, that's an insult to Gaga. Both of them are on Live Nation as well. Literally the only reason this tour is doing so well is because she still has crazy demand from people who loved her FN era. There were definitely many people who didn't get to see her perform that album and as she couldn't perform it until 2 years later, she couldn't benefit from in-the-moment demand. But if the next album isn't good or just isn't successful, this demand is going to fall fast now that most people who are interested in her have seen her and aren't feeling her new work.

Most of these tour venues are already decided before the album's released with the label already predicting how successful it's going to be so this is a bit too much of a stretch when she didn't have any major hits this era or any songs that are standing the test of time. The best bet is to put out the tickets before the next album. It's an underhanded tactic but it works. You know how Katy still managed to do her Witness tour even though that album flopped? That's because the tickets went on sale before the album but look how much lower the demand is for her current tour now that she's had a lack of success since.
