You know watching the show zombie boy would have been perfect. Idk if anyone finished or watched the whole season but zombieboy is literally a plot point and would have been too perfect. Glad we got a new song though it’s fun! 
 

If anything I’m tired of these movies/shows underutilizing Gaga.
They give her minimal to work with and Wednesday gave her barely 2 minutes of screen time in an 8 hour season? Her character could have been shown more or at least be present the whole episode. Had her appear in the actual “Dead Dance” part in the show.

I get what you're saying but that's because our span attention has been brutally damaged because of internet. I think we feel that because we are seeing it through our devices, once we get to witness it in person we'll be vibing to it. Trust her!

if you think sour candy is "generic 90s house" you don't know a thing about 90s house you just know how to shove lots of adjectives like "proggy" and "quasi-operatic" into a sentence in order to make something sound much more high brow than it actually is. also in what world is a typical 'blackpink song' like uk basement house

Yeah, I know it’s an attempt at 90s house. A very watered down one. Not sure why you felt the need to try and engage in a conversation with someone about taste if you’re just gonna act like a child when someone disagrees with you, though .

And that is a very subjective feeling.
 

In regards to lyricism, it’s still very much on brand to what Gaga has done in the past many times. I think you’re just choosing to feel that way because of the context revolving around how she got into Wednesday S2 in the first place, but we don’t know if that feeling matches the true intention behind it, much less if Gaga herself said the song was done before Netflix even approached her. But since no one is here to change anyone else’s opinion, then carry on and hope you still find things to enjoy in this era!

The first 7 songs of Mayhem are all far more interesting. You can also add SOAM, HBDUWM and even The Beast to that. So yeah overall the song scores towards the lower sides of Mayhem for me. If it was released alongside the rest of the album it would be a cute bop sitting with LoveDrug, KFL, DCT etc. 

Lowkey it's tied with blade of grass as the worst imo and it's no contest.

It just sounds a bit unfinished to me. I was hoping for something more darkwave or similar to But Not Tonight by Depeche Mode
