It’s a song yes, but Gaga said it’s in the series and knowing Burton, the part where the song is, is going to be a big spectacle and it must feel good to go in without knowing what to expect both visually and sonically. I don’t know if it was doable but from my understanding, it would’ve been better to release the song on friday, two days after the show, to get the full tracking week. Yes the song would’ve been already “out” on the series, but in that case I believe it would’ve been more of free promo for “the full song, coming on streaming platforms on friday”. Anyway I don’t think they care too much about first tracking week. Gaga already said “can’t wait to see you do The Dead Dance” so they might want to pull an Abra situation.
