djBuffoon 12,123 Posted yesterday at 01:02 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:02 PM Love the album, love the videos we've gotten so far. Coachella was amazing. Not sure what else to say, it's been pretty quiet since then. My partner and I are seeing her in NYC two weekends from now, which I'm sure will be an unbelievable night. AVeryGagaHolyDick 25,713 Posted yesterday at 01:09 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:09 PM Best album since maybe Born This Way. The singles choices are great (they tried Disease and it didn’t work, but at least they kinda tried). The music videos (especially Disease) are great. She was really passionate and it showed. Copacabana, Coachella etc. were amazing, and I’m super happy that she’s on a real tour again. I never thought she would do that again. But why tf did they sleep on Vanish Into You?? Especially now that we know that longevity is Gaga’s best friend. It would’ve probably not reached a super high position on the charts but it would’ve done great on the long run, like ARUTW and Bloody Mary did. A reverse TEOG expedition. It really is a wasted opportunity, both artistically and commercially, especially after DWAS and Abracadabra. The usual wasted opportunity but worse. That song is the perfect bridge between the fans and the GP. What we had was amazing. So that was a great era. But at the same time it feels unfinished, like she let the era kinda rot after Copacabana when there was a last fatal card to play. Just as if she had stopped The Fame era after LoveGame. There’s a missing essential piece.
Economy 49,877 Posted yesterday at 01:10 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:10 PM Amazing era honestly. Her most exciting since btw in my opinion But also feels too short. If theres no Deluxe or EP or any new Mayhem singles it just feels like it came and went immediately. An era this successful shouldnt die so fast If DD is included in a Mayhem EP or Deluxe than sure ill count it as another single, but if ita totally seperate its not truly part of the era at least not really
BeyonkaAte 476 Posted yesterday at 01:25 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:25 PM i will find the 6 people who voted not really and no and personally give them an ear cleaning and a lobotomy bc something isn't right
lastpopicon 30,984 Posted yesterday at 01:30 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:30 PM I just have one complaint, we needed something after Coachella and especially Copacabana... In retrospect it feels almost negligent from her team to not capitalize on her dominance. Looking back, most were saying (me included) that they were just waiting Abracadabra to die on the charts, how naive I'm still incredibly happy with the era though, and I will be even happier when new visuals finally drop with dead dance and TOTAL MAYHEM. The melody that you choose can rescue you

The quantity of content might not be huge but the quality is the best of her career. Exactly how I feel tbh We have forgotten our public MANNERS
HomoMonsterions 321 Posted yesterday at 01:52 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:52 PM Don't care about another single or another mv or more tour dates or whatever else other people want, she can never satisfy the fans no matter how much she does.. I am just really really really happy that she's finally happy and feeling joy to perform and finding back her artistry again and making peace with fame and with herself in this era. Cuz thinking back to how we almost lost her, literally and musically, nothing else matters.
angelduuh 507 Posted yesterday at 01:56 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:56 PM (edited) I think we were feed until Tulum. After that Gaga is just touring. I still have hope for the Vanish Into You video. But I'm happy how this era turned out. I thought that Gaga wasn't going to get this kind of success (never doubt it, but you know how things go) So I'm happy that a lot of people is talking about her and I feel she found younger fans. happymistake 79 Posted yesterday at 02:01 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:01 PM i feel like a Vanish Into You video with fan interactions during the tour when she walks barricade would be so cute make the curtains cream
Nycboy 1,111 Posted yesterday at 02:14 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:14 PM Everything is perfect, and this is a 9/10 era for me. I just wish the era achieved greater popularity, because this album had so much potential to be even bigger among the GP. I know DWAS shattered records, which is a huge win. But I wish HBDUWM blasted over every radio this summer and claimed the vacant spot of song of the summer (which would have been SO easy)! And VIY should have dominated late summer/early fall. I don’t know many people who listen to Mayhem, and that’s such a shame. The album is SO good, and I could see its appeal to multiple generations of listeners. It showcases so many different sides of Gaga in one record (in other words, it’s the opposite of alienating) so it really deserved to be a cultural moment on par with BTW. Remember after the album dropped how we were all voting on which song should be the next single and there were SO many debates because there were so many amazing options…and then she didn’t release a single? I guess her team is probably scared of having a flop single? Idk 🤔 Anyway I can’t really complain - the music, tour, and videos we got are phenomenal. FFXIV WhiteMage 5,936 Posted yesterday at 02:17 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:17 PM she's handling the era in a more efficient and mature way now, she's older so it's to be expected. And frankly, I'm here for it!
Gorehound 4,730
Very happy overall, but... Music videos / Visuals Remixes!!!!!!!!!!!!! More acoustic / alternative versions of songs Fashion Photoshoots and additional art projects (Overall the concept of the album explored more in different mediums). That's what I'm missing I'm fine, Ta
robotvoiceinalice 1,650
how do i feel? well my only issue is the lack of tour dates and not ones that are close by, and expensive tickets which means i can't go to the tour. I cant afford the travel, accommodation, food, or the tickets to go to the tour. im limited to just a phone screen again but apart from that, im loving this era. Chromatica was a solid album but like no era so its good just to finally have one
Fantina 3,357
IT'S GREAT! I love all the different interviews she did months ago. I listened to all of them, and they all gave great insight on what her creative process is like and what she thinks about each record she put out. It's kind of crazy how she did all these records after ARTPOP and she really didn't get a chance to sit down and talk about them. These interviews definitely gave us a lot of info about what she was feeling during all these eras and I AM SO HAPPY that she found her happy place this time round. As far as the album goes, it's amazing. It features all these different genres that usually don't mix well on a record, but she somehow managed to combine them in a way that tells a story that is both ancient and new, yearns for the 80s but also understands the culture of the 2000s. I love it! Vanish Into You is probably one of my favorite Gaga songs of all time! It's hauntigly beautiful and I can't wait to see her perform it live on tour! My only gripe is that I wish the tour was rolled out differently. A lot of people failed to get tickets since we had no idea the tour would happen so suddenly. Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams.
Poltergeist 3,624
I haven't felt this fed since the ARTPOP era, which is my favorite, so I'm amazed. Also this is THE era when I'll finally witness her live after dreaming about it for 17 years, so I've been getting messages from my deep waters
