Murakami27 4,793
No one watches Late Night shows anymore. Conan’s is over. Colbert got cancelled. The rest will eventually fall. 4
palma 7,833
I mean I'd take the gigs she did for the era over any performance at Kimmel or Fallon. Late Night TV is lowkey over and SNL is the best she could do on live TV bar the Grammys. I'd like her to go on Graham Norton for Mayhem when she's touring the UK though. Edited Sunday at 09:42 PM by palma Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something? 4

I only remember the VMA performance and I don't think that counts. It was COVID though If I remember right, she did lots and lots of TV performances with Joanne though, especially for MR

She can still do one at some point perhaps with the next single if there is one Happy Mistake on Jimmy Kimmel was soooo good
Bronco 11,675
Viewership is down for all of these types of shows generally, which is likely why smaller/nicher acts are getting more shots on them now.

But in the world of streaming and TikTok, none of these shows are really worth doing.

I read that Colbert's show had the biggest ratings out of all late night shows even before the cancellation announcement. Feels like this cancellation is more politically motivated than anything tbh. It was just the perfect excuse and timing for Paramount to cancel it and chalk the whole thing up as just cutting costs.

Future Lovers 6,926 Posted yesterday at 12:11 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:11 AM Because we're kind of at a point where late night is more for artists who're trying to get big rather than artists who already are. The go to TV thing for big artists is SNL.
