The countdown should start in an hour. It always starts with a new glitter color on Apple Music, TikTok and then the countdown begins 3 hours before she drops new variants.

Nah, the album variant countdowns have all started an hour later than the previous one (according to the swiftie lore keepers). 
First was a 5 hour countdown, then a 4 hour countdown, the most recent variant had a 3 hour countdown. 
If today's countdown is a 2 hour countdown then it looks like something is coming after this and the next set of variants.
