I've been listening A LOT to "the death of peace of mind" by Bad Omen and "Where do we go from here" by Asking Alexandria. Recommend both full heartily Side note: rock/metal etc is the only medium where I accept male voices in music 😅 I am the same with male vocals 😂😂 glad im not the only one. Ghost & Creeper are my current go to bands. Sanguivore & Prequelle just play through from start to finish so beautifully.
ThisGuyTony 30,734
Lyrically, it’s the same old same old Production sounds cheap and mediocre. Someone said her vocals were monotone glad I wasn’t the only one who heard it. Everyone blames her managment, which yes plays a part, but she also doesn’t have the artistic drive to grow and keep fans/GP interested. I will not be clicking playing on any of these tracks again (except Lovin Myself and DCP)

Lovely, I'll check them out next time I'm working out 😊 Asking Alexandria title track of the album makes me weirdly emotional and the song before is just pure pre-teen joy for me. Used to listen a lot to emo/rock/metal when I was a kid right before my obsession with Gaga started.. poor mum, listening along through all my phases on the living room PC
VasilisVas 5,196
Heaven and Hell was decent. Diamonds and Dancefloors was actually a serve. I loved all if not most songs that album, and are I saw it was my most played album on Apple Music at the time of its release. This new album, though, is a huge step back. None of the tracks are memorable and have no replay value. I’m hoping Ava finds her with she has more growth now that she has a new managment team. princedeeblebleble 1,745
It's a bopy album, great vocals, some good production and fun lyrics glad she didn't sample as much this time around, but I do hope that the next album brings something with a bit more oomph.
Freezie03 968
Does it do anything new? No. Is it generic and repetitive? Sure. Would I put it on for a dance party to have in the background? Yes. So, pretty much like every other project from her. World's Smallest Violin is a nice highlight, though.

Eros92 2,513
Take My Call is the only song I don’t really care for. The title track and Catch My breath are bops. It’s a solid fun album.
Lord Mayhem 988
Yeah so just listened to the album and won't be playing it ever again or adding any song to my playlist Me the entire time...
TheMontebello 535
As much as I've joked about not clicking play, I did. And I received what I expected. It's not too bad, but it's very safe and forgettable. Two songs are OK, but I forget them already. It's better than 143 at least! You like the fat girl I got in me 🍕

Squidward T 2,234
lol, loving myself is a blatant rip off of Fashion of his love. I think she does to on purpose
EART HL I NG 446
Ava’s always been hit or miss with me so I didn’t expect much going into this… but I actually like it. I don’t get the negativity around this album. It’s nothing earth- shattering or genre reinventing but it’s a decent collection of fun pop songs edit to add that the melody for Skin in the Game sounds like Bad Romance. I didn’t see anyone mention it yet (unless I scrolled passed it) Edited August 22 by EART HL I NG
