Gaga Lost 'Out Of Control'?

Was reading the fan wiki about Ga's unreleased songs and when I got to Out Of Control's page, it's stated that Gaga supposedly said she doesn't have a copy of OOC and would leak it if she ever found a copy. Does anyone know where or when Gaga said this?

I know OOC was created early on in her career (probably even before The Fame came out) but I find it a bit mind boggling that Gaga (or maybe even her team/record label) just doesn't have a copy of the song anywhere?

I mean, when you're an artist of any kind I imagine, you're going to produce a lot work and especially at the beginning of your career you're probably gonna produce a lot of work you'll later not care for, so this doesn't sound off to me - I know I've probably lost a lot of paintings and drawing over the years cuz I just didn't care to save em

I'd be surprised if she hasn't lost a bunch especially back then when it might have been on CD or memory stick, I'm sure the producer would still have it though. I've lost a few projects before from drive failure with no secondary backups before

As an artist, I totally get this viewpoint. Goodness knows there's a myriad of drawings I've lost or discarded altogether simply because I didn't care for them (if at all). But, in this instance, I'm sure there were other songwriters and producers who worked on these tracks. So, to me, it does sound a bit odd that potentially not a single person involved including the record label has them archived somewhere?

That's fair. I'd like to think she or at least the producers have a copy somewhere of those records made early in her career. It's plausible there's a lot of unreleased material she's lost that she just hasn't made it known she's lost.

I think she gave Freakshow to her friend who posted it years later so there might be a few people in her life who have copies of things even if she herself ends up losing them

Its not unusual at all for demos to get lost or accidentally destroyed tbh. 

Especially early era ones. 

Just gotta pray it turns up in a friends collection or a forgotten box in her warehouse one day

Am I the only one that feels the Out of Control in Garden of Eden? It’s always reminded me of that, along with Animal and maneater by Nelly furtado
