Gaga couldn't get neither with her biggest songs ever: DWAS and Shallow, I don't think Taylor being nominated changes anything for her.

She had won Pop Duo with both of those. What are you saying?

People are allowed to be tired with TS, and I partially agree. Also I would find it very sad if she releases just last minute before the Grammy deadline and potentially steals noms or potential wins from Gaga

I was replying to a comment mentioning SOTY and ROTY, not the Pop categories.

Yeah so what we don't do around here is mock ESL speakers. Save that for Truth Social

I don't intend to ever make fun of any ESL speakers as an esl teacher myself. I was simply pointing out the incorrect use of second person in singular form.

As for Taylor Swift’s English, the grammatical errors in her work are often used as bad examples in many English lessons, that includes her crazy use of commas, ‘was/ were’, Your'e instead of ‘You're’ on a t-shirt and the list go on….

And I'm not being funny. A1- B1 level learners who’re only willing to listen to Taylor Swift for their English, expressing their personal experiences, is a great tragedy.

Eh, I could argue last year had too many strong pop songs nominated. Votes were bound to split.

This year there’s not as many monstrous pop hits. I still think it’s a long shot but I’d say it’s not fair to think that if DWAS did not make it, that Abra could not.

Each year the playing field is different and I like to look at the odds based on that more so than past attempts.

Your'e instead of ‘You're’ on a t-shirt

Tbf I doubt she had any involvement in that :laughga:

And I found the using Taylor Swift to learn English comment funny but you were not simply "pointing out" anything, "ever heard of grammar rules" come on now :lmao:

Yes, when it’s being introduced for the first time. Now, you are ‘the’ grammar police. :abra:

😢 I was hoping for the lead to come after the eligibility period. Guess this will be a shoo-in for ROTY and SOTY.

I hope she’s still choosing to drop it on September 5th with a VMA performance on the 7th. That way we will be in the clear.

Taylor has never won song of the year, that’s her one curse.
