Wasn’t she offered a larger role originally but couldn’t accept it because of the CBT? My guess is Billie’s character was the one originally offered to her.

I think it’s a warning to Wednesday from the afterlife. Gaga is rumoured to have played a legendary and powerful teacher who died trying to uncover a dark secret. I think Wednesday is doing the same thing and so this teacher (Gaga’s character) is trying to warn Wednesday to not make the same mistakes she made which cost her her life. 
 

She’s rumoured to be in one episode and the song will be shortly played in a later episode that Gaga is not in.
