Yes but let's be real mayhem wasn't going to win anything anyway

pop album and dance pop for Abracadabra should be on lock unless her team stupidly submit the latter in pop solo!

also for the grammy’s hype like i have so much stock still in gaga’s like we have yet to see sabrina and taylor but regardless of them releasing stuff gaga is front runner like this has been her most cohesive album in awhile there is no way gaga doesn’t take home a trophy or two

There is no reason to say it's not going to win anything.

And Taylor might affect her chances, but it depends on the album. Her last album had 6 nominations and won none.

You like the fat girl I got in me 🍕

Just like Katy, running back to the people who made her hits :Cautious:

The titles are childish as usual :Cautious:

Oh please, Taylor had hits as a country artist before switching to pure pop

Nope. If the vinyls ship on or before October 13, that means the album is coming around that same week because the label will want to align those sales for the debut numbers. This means the album is coming sometime in October, September at the earliest, hence it will NOT compete against Mayhem.

Contrary, if the album comes out Sept-Oct it actually BENEFITS Mayhem, because Sabrina’s album is coming on August 29 and her era starts around the exact same time Taylor will release. Taylor’s grasp on the entire pop culture optics will shift and steal focus from Sabrina, who does compete against Gaga. Even if Sabrina has an incredible album no one will be paying much attention to it, and chart wise we can expect Taylor to once again flood the entire Hot 100 and sustain the #1 spot in the top 200. This cuts Sabrina’s commercial streak entirely. Taylor is doing is a favor.

The only possible competition is if Taylor releases a lead single before August 30. That one could compete in the SOTY and ROTY categories. Pop Solo too, but Gaga is not getting a nom in that category regardless of Taylor. Abra for SOTY and ROTY is pretty much on lock at this point and even a Taylor lead single probably would face an uphill battle to get recognized (think how DWAS lost out on the ROTY nom and it was released in August). There’s just not enough time for new releases to build enough momentum (although if there is someone who could do it, that would be Taylor)

i get what ur saying but idk if commercial success rly means that much to the grammy’s like if an album has it or not. if sabrina’s album is good the council will deff notice even if the general population doesn’t
