Sources saying Guardsmen in the DC unit think this is a massive waste of time, one of them said he didn’t want to enlist because it would be like “being in the Gestapo.” Also for anyone dooming about this: he’s using the same pretext for deployment he used in LA (a narrow statute that allows the Guard to be used to protect federal property) and that mission had terrible morale, was poorly executed, and, in the absence of a legitimate emergency concern, was very quickly disbanded via court order. Like others have said, this is pure political theater meant to distract from him being a pedophile.

Granted I have only ever visited DC as a tourist but the longest time I’ve been there (4 days) I felt safer than in my own city lol.

Yeah someone needs to start an Epstein thread. I've been rolling my eyes at all that stuff just thinking it's 99% pointless conspiracy but if Trump is doing this much to distract, there is something under the covers for the sure. Homos, please investigate.
