Oriane 21,191
When I saw her at TCB, people were all so nice, I didn't have one bad experience, I'm so grateful and I can't wait to get the same experience when I go to the Mayhem Ball. People around me were sharing food, water, giving compliments, taking photos, I got to talk to so many people, I even got some people concerned because I needed to sit down a bit before it started. One of the best days of my life I think. The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic! 2
hamartia 1,566
These stories are crazy I've always been in the nosebleeds with the stra*ghts, so the worst thing I've seen is people not knowing the words, or when she did Alice at CBT a girl in front of me started dancing a bit and then she sat down lmao 1
himerosxo 334
The only bad experience I’ve had was at the Chromatica Ball in LA. I was heading to the restroom with a friend who was then pulled aside by one of the fans who helped reveal the ARTPOP tracklist (with the painted mural). In front of me, they were laughing and talking sh*t about me under their breaths. It was a group of mean girls + mean gays who are grown people, btw. BloodyVelvet 667
Honestly… my first Gaga concert was the Monster Ball Tour in Zurich. I was sitting in the stands and had posted some pics on Facebook afterwards. A random gay guy mocked how far I was from the stage and got super insulting for no reason. Things got so heated online that when we ran into him and his drunk clique at the local gay club, it escalated into a full-on physical altercation. They literally chased me and my best friend around the club and attacked us. That was the aftermath of my first Gaga concert… No regrets though, the show was pure fire. People can just be incredibly dumb sometimes. Then came BTWBT, also in Zurich. I was right at the front. When it was time to throw gifts after BK, the crowd surged forward and we all got crushed against the barrier. Some Italian guy squeezed his way in, threw his wallet on stage while screaming at Gaga to give it back (I can’t). He reeked so bad I thought I was going to pass out. My second-to-last Gaga show was the Chromatica Ball in NYC. We were front row again — it was my boyfriend’s first Gaga concert and he was glowing. When Gaga hits the stage, I go into full trance mode. I wasn’t being disrespectful or anything, just feeling it. But this couple next to us started insulting us for dancing “too much.” Like… dude, if you’re front row at a Gaga show and NOT losing your mind, that’s on you. I always respect boundaries, but they just had a massive stick up their asses. Honestly, the American crowd was a big disappointment… super sleepy (although I had a different experience this year at Coachella). In Switzerland, we go hard at concerts (I guess we make up for our peaceful lives hahaha). Anyway… just a collection of awful gays at Gaga concerts 😅 Still wouldn’t trade it for anything! Defmix100 6,450
I got punched in the head at The Monster Ball, and at C2C I somehow got to a side hall near the stage after the show, paparazzi were right on the other side so it seemed like this is where Gaga was gonna walk out. There were a few fans there but they wouldn't acknowledge me and I got a mean clique kinda vibe. Then my friend said we had to leave so I don't know if they ended up meeting her or not.

FATCAT 60,344
When I went to the artRave there was a lesbian couple a few rows in front of us making out off and on the entire show, it was so hopeful to see in 2014. then at the JWT a tipsy girl tried to hold hands with me in the pit & I had to tell her to leave me alone 😩 Chromatica Ball was probably the least eventful as far as memorable crowds, but it was so fun to see the guy dressed up as an Oreo! happymistake 266
I went to one of the Seattle shows and everyone was soooo lovely. It was great seeing so many people around the city wearing Gaga shirts and us all acknowledging each other. And before the show I made a friend because we were both there alone. No one I know irl is a Gaga fan, so it was great to have someone else to talk to for once. Keeo 484
I’m a bit scared for my Miami show - Sept 1 tbh. I’m a late 30s gay, very shy, not white, not American, and traveling alone for the show. I’m feeling kinda insecure about the outfit I have planned and whether it’ll be awkward sitting there alone. Thankfully I have an aisle seat. I know I’m going there for Gaga and to have this spiritual experience, but I also want to feel welcome and connected with the people around me. I know not everyone's experience may be exactly the same as mine, but I felt this way before going to my show alone and I had the best time. There were so many people just in my section that were also there alone and I talked to a few people that were near me and they were so kind and welcoming. Don't be afraid to introduce yourself and I'm sure you will find someone to connect with. And once the show starts everyone is singing and dancing, the energy is so amazing you'll feel right at home. And there were so many fun costumes! I'm sure what you have planned is lovely. when you killed me inside, that's when i came alive
