well she wasn't going to die  , but glad she's doing well and recovering, she'l most likely still be unable to do much choreography for a while, but she seems like she'l be at least walking soon...enough to walk over to the studio :zilla:

She shouldn't be walking, she should be laying in bed doing recovery exercises. Hopefully she doesn't screw up her leg from this.

Maybe these few steps her Dad talked about were part of these recovery exercises? It's not like she's walking miles anyway...

Schizophonic

just read an old interview with rolling stone magazine.... and there is a part that fits totally right now.

Gaga: I guess what I’m trying to say is, this is showbiz for me. It might not be showbiz for the rest of you, but for me, this is showbiz. If I were to ever, God forbid, get hurt onstage and my fans were screaming outside of the hospital, waiting for me to come out, I’d come out as Gaga. I wouldn’t come out in sweatpants because I busted my leg or whatever.

And that’s what Michael [Jackson] did. Michael got burned, and he lifted that glittered glove so damn high so his fans could see him, because he was in the art of show business. That’s what we do. Some people don’t. They want to relate in a different way. I don’t want people to see I’m a human being. I don’t even drink water onstage in front of anybody, because I want them to focus on the fantasy of the music and be transported from where they are to somewhere else. People can’t do that if you’re just on Earth. We need to go to heaven.

I can see some people in this thread think that she'll just return to normal now that she's walked. NO.

Doctors always ask the patients to do a few small steps after surgery, if she can do a few small steps without feeling pain she felt before then the surgery was a success. If she was still in pain then something else would still be wrong.

She will still take as long to recover and will be using a wheelchair for a week or two before then moving onto crutches so that she can put some pressure back onto her legs again. It's all about taking baby steps.

I can totally see her just wanting to get back into the swing of things as soon as possible. :lmao:

 A lot of nauseous and pain :ohno: poor baby.

The nauseousness could be from the pain medication. Whatever my doctor made me take made me sick. I actually ended up in the ER like a week after surgery.

So if the medicine doesn't bother Gaga and she takes it with a meal she won't feel too bad. If it does make her feel sick then she will ask her doctor to try a different pain med.

But there will surely be pain no matter what.

I'm happy she's up and walking but I hope she doesn't push herself too much too soon :/

Im also hoping she doesn't feel under pressure from monsters to get back to business.

less than 24 hours she already walked?

Best believe she has the best doctors and procedures money can buy. I am not surprised by this. =)
