It gives me Halloween Target commercial. The chorus playing at a low volume in the background, “swoop in now to get your paws on this season’s spookiest deals!” LD snuck up on me on release & has remained my #1 MAYHEM track. It gives me Stevie Nicks or The Cranberries, hair-whipping around in a thunderstorm. The chorus is a vocal rollercoaster

MOT 3,071
Two good songs, and two very different styles, welcome to Mayhem. Love Drug flows along, Zombieboy is choppy (you can see where I'm going with this), I prefer Love Drug.

LoveDrug is essentially an 80s arena pop/rock pastiche, whereas ZB is a fusion of disco, new wave, funk and 50/60s girl group pop with a camp/gothic flair. DopeEnigma 1,370
Two of my absolute faves but there’s something so perfect about LoveDrug for me lyrically and sonically, her vocals and the fact it’s classic GaGa and very 80s inspired. Been on repeat daily since the album came out, can’t wait to see it live at the ball in Manchester.  Zombieboy is so very MJ and classic disco, it’s brilliant! Can’t wait to see this either. Edited August 6 by DopeEnigma

The chorus is a vocal rollercoaster I think lyrically, LD is one of the best songs on mayhem, alongside songs like debra Although It's hard to explain but the song felt kinda predictable even from the first listen - I think it has more to do with the placement of the song on MAYHEM, rather than the song itself, it should have come after VIY and before Killah I think. Also I actually prefer the verses to the chorus, which feels a bit too Pop radio top 40

Awrah999 4,308
Love both but LOVEDRUG is so underrated. Her vocals on the verses give me chills and the chorus is pop perfection and so ethereal.

It sounds pretty, spooky, melancholic & exciting all at the same time. & we love rooting for an underdog, a song hidden in plain sight 💚
