She is 100% the type to have the messiest album roll-outs of any pop girl.   She gives that energy that she will either willingly postponed it 5 years to punish her fanbase or that she will impulsivey upload it to a hard drive one evening bc she wanted to destroy capitalism.

Or she’ll just tease the album with 37 cryptic visuals and not release the lead single for 2 years. And then she'll delete the Instagram post and never adress it again.

the more she speaks the more insufferable i find her ... i went from totally stanning her and rooting for her to rolling my eyes every time she says something.

Girl, I wrote and produced an album in one month while working a 9-5 at the same time. Considering she doesn't have a 9-5 job on top of this, needing "5 years" to write 10 songs is total bs.  You can't be that unprolific and call yourself a writer... ESPECIALLY considering almost none of her songs are solely written by her (cowriters everywhere) and she isn't even credited as a coproducer.

But she made it clear she does not want Fame at all costs, one thing that differenciates her a lot from Gaga. She is not that passionate about the fame and superstar aspect, and thats fine. That being said, I loved Gagas drive at the beginning of her career, she WANTED it and she did everything to achieve it!

Was it the most healthy? No. But I think she and all of us are so proud of her achievements, Gaga is still the ultimate superstar 

Yeah, i think theres definitely different routes u can take when ur career first blows up and theres no right or wrong answer

 

Personally id be super overwelmed with fame. As long as i was garanteed a decent career with some audience for my art and enough income to live confortably...

 

id rather take it slower and had a specific core audience of fans to support me and my career and only barely a semi famous C-List celeb level status with GP so I wouldnt be bothered by paparazzi and fans everywhere I go and gossipped by online media all the time

 

But if u can handle it and its what you want, that is fine too!

Midwest Princess came out Sept 2023. The first single from it came Feb 2022.

You're right about PPC(its not credited as a release from Midwest for some reason online so I missed it) but I can't find any reference to NiM or My Kink is Karma being released before 2022.

And Naked in Manhatten is credited as the lead into Midwest Princess.

I double checked right now, and on the wikipedia main page of her single discography, it does say 2020. But when I click on the song wikipedia page, it it says 2022! So yeah im not sure..

I also thought about it, but than why is she is doing this crazy promoting of her stand alone single? 
I feel like she want to break the mold of the “pop star” and feeling like she don’t owe anyone a thing, I feel like we are so used to pop-stars giving their soul and body for the fame even if it means not prioritizing their mental health.

she could also pull an Adele, releasing an album every now and than, promoting it for a year and than pretty much disappearing for 4 years.
