People don't realize that ALL of their faves would literally not exist or even have space in the music industry without Madonna. Yes I'm serious. They assume this because she put out the Sex book not long afterwards so they conflate the two (Justify My Love was also not on Erotica but a lot of people think it is). In actuality, Erotica is barely about sex, especially not explicitly. - Bedtime Stories is one of her most underrated albums and so much better than Erotica. - Dangerous Game was her best acting role ever (yet barely anyone have seen it). - The original, banned version of the American Life music video is one of the best music videos of all time. - Confessions on a Dancefloor is her most overrated album and there's only about 2 songs I actually like on it. - Rebel Heart isn't that bad.
