How Do You Remove Vocals From A Track?

My friend sent me in a demo of him singing, and I love the song, but just the music. Is there anyway I can take his vocals out of the song. Or is there someone who can do it for me? Thanks.

I've tried but it doesn't seem to work. I thought it would be easy. It's practically a guitar and one solo voice.

It's very difficult to remove vocals from a track. You could just ask him to send you the instrumental.
