I'm watching live-translated Japanese news as the first waves are arriving in Japan. Right now they're small thankfully, but the news is saying later ones could be larger. EDIT: Might be worth informing Canadians/Americans you know who live along the Pacific just in case, since the american NOAA's equipment has been stripped down to, as one redditor so eloquently put it, a ouija board and a pair of binoculars. I doubt the effects on the North American coast will be noticeable by most people, unless you know someone who likes to surf at night or something.
