Liam Germanotta 3
Detailled Germany update: (MediaMarkt does not have that high impact than the other three but it's the store that I use to download music as it's good quality and often the lowest price.) iTunes #34 [40] (peak) Musicload #23 [20] Amazon #20 [24] MediaMarkt #15 [15] Official charts 12/09/11 Airplay #28 [44] (p) Single #33 [46] (p) Not that bad actually. Americano could be right by saying it might be a European radio hit. For German listeners it would definitely fit. Actually on bigFM, which is very popular in Germany they play it a lot (which they actually always do with Gaga hits). To sum up I'd say it's growing slowly BUT it's growing! Bambi performance was way to early. TEOG exploded after the Germany's Next Topmodel performance but people knew it before as it was in the Single charts already and on the radio. MattyMonster 3
Slovakia here. I don't know about airplay, but there's not one Gaga's song in iTunes TOP 100, nor any album. I think my country just hates her  :noparty:

Liam Germanotta 3
It's interesting to compare TOTGA and MTN in Germany. TOTGA seems to grow more than MTN. I mostly listen to bigFM, which is a radio station focused on listeners between 14 and 29. All these stations in Germany are generally Gaga friendly concerning her new releases and they play MTN a lot. Actually, I know TOTGA is played a lot by the radio stations that are focused on the 30+ generation; guess this could be one reason. These stations always need way to long until they have finally the courage to play a new Gaga song - never listened to MTN there. There are major differences on Germany's most popular download shops: iTunes (major market share) TOTGA #33 (+8) MTN #37 (-3) Musicload (major market share) TOTGA #12 (increasing trend) MTN #24 (slightly decreasing) Amazon (major market share) MTN #24 (slightly decreasing) TOTGA #49 (decreasing) MediaMarkt (minor market share, but it's the shop with the best MTN position I've found so far) MTN #14 TOTGA #

Same as North America then, where Katy does well with Adult Contemporary format, and Gaga made inroads there with EoG and Yuyi.
