Silence is complicity so good for him for calling her out, hugely disappointed in her (and others) for not saying anything.

Soft, soothing, and succulent

Couldn't this have been handled privately?

It's great to have ethics, but the finger pointing and subsequent free publicity is not a good look. Not to mention they leaked the timeframe of Rosalía's comeback.

Honestly, this reeks of a publicity stunt unless there's evidence that this designer has taken actual steps to support Palestine through BDS/fundraising etc.

Like is this the very first time he's refused a client? Or is this just the first time someone big enough to get attention via has contacted him?

It's their right to not work with artists who haven't publicly stated their position on an issue, but to publicly post this in order to coerce a reaction isn't right, in my opinion.

This. Period.

Maybe it's time that both as  Spanish people (and also Spain as a country for that matter) will recognize their genocide and atrocities on Abya Yala and to these days many countries of LATAM are suffering the consequences of their atrocities.

The Spanish loves to be so righteous, until someone points out their actions and then they are like “stfu the past is the past we shouldn’t apologize” saw it even here a few times in the past :Cautious:

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Clumsy handling of it, but at this point I applaud just about any effort to get more eyes on Palestine.

For years and years we were over and over "never again" and yet now there is a genocide being basically livestreamed. I think there should be people in the streets and fire in the cities until it stops, but we saw how it went when college students started protesting.

So talking about it and getting others to acknowledge it by hook or by crook is the next best thing until the people of Palestine are free as well as SAFE.

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

they're using her statements about Tel Aviv from 2014.... it's been over 10 years

like let's use our brains here

Yes. I've figured this out. But there are some people pointing at her for not saying anything recently. Has she? Genuine question because I don't know much about this matter. (Gaga's statements on genocide)

I know she is a kind and good person and I know where her heart is tho.

Pretty much nothing. An Israeli news source wants to paint her as a supporter but she's never said anything about Israel apart from the Artrave. I know she liked an insta post about bringing back the hostages which at least tells us she doesn't like it when people are taken away from their homes and/or murdered :ladyhaha:

on the surface simplicity, but the darkest pit in me is pagan poetry

Rosalia just posted a story saying she supports Palestine and doesn’t see how embarrassing each other is a good way forward.

Good for her standing up for herself.

Sometimes it just feels like people just want to be seen as the better person.

When the UK is conditioning the recognition of a Palestinian state on Israel having the will to have another fake ceasefire, I can promise you the wording or tone of a Spanish Pop star doesn’t mean shit.

Celebs doing these type of statements give the same vibes as Thoughts and Prayers so it doesn't really bother me that much :toofunny:
