She has “iconic” looks but they’re not associated with any one song. Now this strategy of releasing songs months after being performed makes no sense either. At least this one has a MV so we’ll see how it does. I mean, Karma, Hot to Go, Casual, Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl, Red Wine Supernova, Pink Pony Club, and Naked in Manhattan all have MVs lol We have forgotten our public MANNERS

Ladle Ghoulash 24,552
Gotta hand it to y’all: a surprisingly tame and sane thread on here in spite of it being about Chappell We have forgotten our public MANNERS
HomoMonsterions 300
That's why I never understand why people say she is the next gaga. Others here have mentioned that she struggles with fame and doesn't really want fame and success (which I doubt, cuz most commercial artists chase that, and she defo not indie anymore), at least when gaga first came out she openly said she wanted fame and fully embrased it. Chappell's artistry, vocal, songs, they are nothing like gaga. Just because she dresses extravagant too?

Ppl who says that mv are no longer important should takes notes from Abracadabra, Expresso, DWAS, APT, Lunch recent MVs that are very iconic. I'm here to take a break from university homeworks :/

Her most viewed is Pink Pony Club with 68M which is kinda tragic

Gagasdisease 212
This song is so good though, I'm excited! And the music video shoot leaks are eating. They're doing it right this time and releasing a video along with the song... She's one of the most interesting visual artists we've had in a while and she released no videos for either Good Luck Babe or The Giver, which was wasted opportunity, imo. And for people complaining about the release strategy... She unexpectedly blew up so it's not like they had a plan, and I think they're being smart releasing singles here and there until the album is finished. I mean, Gaga performed You and I before it came out on GMA too... I think the disconnect some people here feel is literally just taste. In music. And what type of artist she is, she's not gonna give full choreo like Gaga. Although I'd love if she did in the future.
