She went to her IG, and decided to tell everyone that her ex was a "blonde, blue-eyed, maga, republican voter", which is honestly an odd way to describe your partner, completely unprovoked, like... nobody asked her . If she wanted to just casually adress the relationship, she could've just said: "He was a wonderful man", and leave it there. She made A LOT of emphasis on the fact that he was maga, she clearly wanted a reaction . The man was probably a lot of things, but she chose to reduce him to "white maga cop" in her speech. This isn't a case of people online being parasocial: she invited her audience to peek into her private life, and she chose to present this relationship in the most sensationalist way possible . She could have said: "I had this very long relationship after the pandemic, he was a great guy, it just didn't work, he was younger, we had different views in life, etc, but I still have fond memories of that experience". I would say though: if she made this whole thing up, just to promote her show, I respect that get that promo gurl, IDC . At the end of the day, it's an interesting conversation to me. I'm sure many here found themselves in that situation, of having to question whether or not is it ok to be tolerant towards those who are not tolerant. But I am me, and she is her, I do not expect anybody to live according to my personal standards.
