They’re both kitschier than the rest of the album and Mayhem would be more cohesive without both tracks tbh but I’m not dragging either.

I also feel that they are kitschier except for perhaps disease? Well actually, I guess Disease is not "kitsch" so much as it references kitsch in its horror, doctor/nurse affect (especially with the music video). Well, with the direct zombie/livingdead references in Zombieboy and The Dead Dance, they are definitely top Kitsch on the album, actually. I would agree.

The underlying kitsch influence on Disease, though, I live for! I love that song so much .... :wtfga:

Side note:
I hope Joanne goes viral one day. It is an incredible work of art, in my opinion... It's so different from Gaga's other works. It feels as though it sprung from that unique time in Gaga's life, a one-of-a-kind expression of the moment.

I think Joanne gets **** in large part because it feels so different from the rest of her discography. In my mind, it is a deeply honest expression of Gaga's experience at that time, including of course, all the pressures and distortions the industry was putting on her.

I just feel that every Gaga album is deeply honest. Even when the songs hide behind overly-smooth production like in Chromatica, that in itself is an expression of where Gaga was at the time. I think maybe that's the core of why I love her --- like me, she cannot help but be aunthentic! Every move she makes is described by her truth and reality. She experiences and shares that experience with us.

Thanks Ga

Omg is Kill for Love the next single?!??!????? :cryga:

I'd love that. ViY and HBDUWM need their time in the sun, but(t) ****, why not give KfL her time???

I'm here for a 2 year Mayhem roll out... 7 singles, movies, I mean the tour just got extended, is that the plan? Are they gonna be making moves for a year to come? :max:

Oooooh is that why the team is being so slow with roll out? so they are dragging it out so it lasts a long time? I kinda get behind that. They've been dragging with promo often (not right now, TDD promo is exceptional ), maybe it's to manage the rate of exposure? So they can push the MAYHEM era for a long time? Give it all the attention and time it deserves? :bradley:
