Even without Sabrina it would be very hard taking into account the insane competition (kendrick), with sabrina splitting pop votes I don't see a world when MAYHEM can win. :noparty:

I just want her to win one of the main categories. :traumatica:

I hate it  :traumatica: Like IT'S ABOUT TIME SHE GETS IT. I’m gonna be quite sad if they give her consolation prices and ignore her in those categories again.

Hopefully Sabrina's album is so bad that she won't even get nominated and hopefully a different rapper gets nominated to split votes with Kendrick

Albums being bad is not a impediment for a nomination, if anything, it's more like a popularity contest now.

I don't think sabrina team releasing right at the end of the deadline is a coincidence, and they are pushing this release hard, she will be very fresh in the voters minds, plus, manchild is already a hit, still gaining on radio and stable in streams, if the album isn't absolute garbage I think she's getting a nom.

Tbh I don't think Manchild was nowhere as well received as her previous 3 singles. Most critics pointed out how the song is a result of Sabrina trying to replicate her previous success but it just comes across as flat (and I agree).

Releasing the album so close to the deadline can have its pros and cons. Some people will argue it's too late a submission and it won't have enough time to build up momentum by the time voters decide on early nominations, which is already in September or October if I'm not mistaken...

Ultimately, it will all depend on how good or bad the album is really.

Manchild didn't reinvented the wheel but it's already a cute hit, reviews were mixed but that's the case for most pop music tbh. I don't even think manchild is a "safe" song for sabrina, she did something that Chappell failed with "The Giver".

Idk, her team is making moves with intent and she's the new IT girl, I'd love to be proven wrong and hope her second single flops. :ladyhaha:

Love the optimism but if sabrina gets nominated mayhem is not winning AOTY.

Let's pray she doesn't then :tony: :traumatica:

Tbh, I'm always very pessimistic but since Joanne won a Grammy I realized that you never know :ladyhaha:

I see Kendrick and Tyler, the Creator getting nominations so maybe it's our year. Sabrina's album might be bad as you said but I also hope the Grammys are done with Jack Antonoff :ohwell: I'm just manifesting the best case scenario for Gagisha :oohrightthereyeah:

I agree with this... Look at what happened with DWAS! It's clearly THE song of the year but it didn't built enough momentum to secure more nominations and didn't get its well deserved SOTY Grammy :awkney: But it was clearly a mistake cause look where it is almost a year after release
