I would have replaced Lovegame for Replay and Million reasons for Marry the night, but that's being extremely nitpicky.. cause the show is ****ng incredible! She's truly back to form and I'm so happy for her :traumatica:

She needs to extend Aura just a tad more. Look at the reactions. :vegas:

BM -> Paparazzi and SOAM -> BR are basically unimpeachable tbh. My biggest issues, which are relatively minor, are with the mid section. As others have mentioned, LG feels jarring right after Paparazzi (probably could’ve been better served by a more tender moment like MTN and maybe put LG after the Beast or include it in the medley with Applause and JD). Killah and ZB’s reworks are great, the staging and aesthetic are excellent, LD’s live performance and setting made me appreciate the song more, but the Applause + JD medley feels a bit tacked on and I wasn’t clamoring to hear either of those songs (though that section is good for what it is).

I saw the 1.0 show in Mexico in April, it was 10/10 for me, but 2.0 grabbed it and made it 10 times better tbh. Every aspect of it was amazing, and she improved on every single area that had room for it

I can write a wall of text praising every bit of it, but it would be stuff thats already been said, so ill just add a few comments on stuff that isnt commented as much as something like the expanded setlist:

-I love how the interludes are a lot less invasive than in 1.0 where they fell too long at times.

-The massive screen behind the stage, and the catwalk being a screen itself, combined with the Opera house aesthetics give it a very interesting effect of high-tech but set in the past at the same time which give it a very magical feel to it

-The whole show seems extremely optimized for her to administer her energy for the whole show even with the huge amount of songs. She doesnt do that much choreo herself but it also doesnt feel like she is just standing as she fills those gaps with many other things like in Paparazzi or MR.

I could be a pie for your zombie bite....

main thing i would change is wish she was playing stadiums LOL i just feel like shes too big to be playing 17k arenas - a lot of those stadiums are free on a lot of the dates she has planned

i like the lighting way more here and i like how the screens play off the physical aspects of the stage.

also wish the catwalk went out further with a bigger secondary stage

i would love to see marry the night on the set list and also GUY

summerboy is cute but def needs to be shortened - live it doesnt hit as hard as the studio version imo

Probably a big reason is due to selecting arenas over stadiums. Its a bit more intricate.

I honestly was hoping it was the same as coachella (I really wanted to see that pokerface performance in person) just so I didn’t have to focus on the stage and have a good time but I can do both

My opinion

The Mayhem Ball was shaped for arenas from the beginning. I really felt desapointed by the stadium part, the stage was small, the production after act III seemed rushed and made for the camera and not a stadium crowd.

HOWEVER, now that she show was revamped and put in arena I live for it. This is SO good. I always dreamt to see Gaga in such a gothic atmosphere. It's the show we all dreamt about.

The Fame Monster

From what I've seen on TikTok, it looks absolutely amazing, and Gaga sounds out of this world! I'm so proud of her and super excited for all the monsters who get to experience it.

Here are my current highlights:
– The rendition of Million Reasons she performs is simply incredible.
– The stage setup and that dress she wears during Killah are everything.
– The boat set during Shallow looks absolutely magical.

I didn't have the funds or energy this time, sadly, but fingers crossed we get an HBO special of the Mayhem Ball next year! 🤞🏼

I love it. The Coachella set was too good to be a "one-off" (even if she played it more times) so I appreciate the effort to introduce so many changes. And on a personal level, the inclusion of Summerboy is the best gift she has given to me since she added Scheiße to the JWT. I really really hope she gives us a professional film of the tour like she did with GCB.

My only note would be that Perfect Celebrity and Disease deserved a more physical performance with a lot of energy and chaos

Overall a great show but some changes are needed.

1. The stage needs to have a better design. It's her second tour in a row where the stage is just a basic catwalk when there is potential to make it more interesting and fun.

2. Lovegame REALLY needs to go. It's over done and sounds out of place. I can't believe she insists on performing this song in full while cutting better songs to 45 seconds.

3. Millions reasons needs to be replaced with MTN. It would fit better and is more of a fan favourite.

Love how arenas deliver a more immersive experience. Her best tour for sure. But not gonna lie the stage can definitely be better.

The small stage sabotaged the iconic Poker Face chess set. And I prefer the Coachella version of Poker Face (stage), Killah (the light, the exotic props, the costume, the drums), Zombieboy + DWAS (the light, the skeletons, the dance), SOAM (the dance, the cinematography), and Shallow (piano fits better than boat).

As for the setlist, MR and Lovegame do feel unfit. Love the Lovedrug + Applause + Just Dance section!

Her best tour for sure.

TheARTPOPball

The pricing is insane

Her skipping Atlanta is crazy

The show looks great but it being so similar to the Coachella set kind of ruined my anticipation

i liked a lot of the fashion for the Coachella performance better than the tour fits.

the skull piano from Coachella is far superior to the mayhem ball one

Idc if it “fits”, summer boy is such a treat for the fans

the costumes are a lot more reserved and not as flamboyant and out there as i anticipated

I like this better than the Chromatica Ball and am really upset that this Will be the first tour I’ve missed since the ARTPOP ball
