Is it worth avoiding Spoilers?

Hi monsters!

So, I’ll be attending the Mayhem Ball in London and I have wanted to avoid spoilers until then in order to surprise myself more. However, since until last night we were not sure if the tour would be different, I was thinking if it was even worth doing the effort if it ends up being the same as TAOPC shows.

So, without spoilers, those of you who already saw it, is this tour different enough that it is worth it going blind? Is it like a revamped Coachella set with different setlist, make up, looks, stage props? Or is this like 80-90% the same show it’s just a few changes here and there?

Also, sorry if another thread like this one already exists. I’m avoiding the forums like a plague :ladyhaha:

Thanks! And hope that anyone who attended last night had fun!

From what I saw, I do believe it's great to avoid spoilers if you attend the show ; it's very similar to the Coachella show, but a bit elevated I'd say, with some new looks and a setlist that's a bit different (with some surprises!).

I can just say I regret not buying a ticket for Paris 🥲

Uuu ok that sounds great and like a perfect middle ground. I was afraid it be mostly the same with maybe just 2-3 songs added.

So would you say these changes are different enough that it’s worth it? Like is at least a 40%ish of the show new?

It was like at least 65-70% different than the taopc 1.0. The opera house theme and concept are still there, but with a new set list, added many songs with different costumes and visuals.

And what’s the fan’s sentiment? Gosh I miss so much reading reactions. Was there meltdowns last night or are the fans happy?

nah ignore the meltdowns, those are people who can't be please and will complain whatever she does.

All I saw the people who ACTUALLY went to the show had a great time there, and imho it is better than the taopc 1.0

Yeah I haven’t seen any reactions at all. I closed social media before the show began. All I saw were some people disappointed about them same stage, but other than that I have no idea. I’ll try to stay away as much as possible and just experience it myself. It’s exciting that the few people who have replied here have all implied this is a better version.

hmmm how do I say this, of the top of my head Id say about 8 of the songs were done exactly the same way as before, the rest were modified, (some just a little but most do feel very different) plus all the new songs.

But even those that were done the same way as before, benefit from new stage visuals and effects.

So yea if its important to you, id say its worth the wait

"The same stage" is not exactly correct tbh, but I wont say more about that unless you want me to.

And yea I went to the show in Mexico in April, and this is definetly an improvement. 1.0 was an amazing show,  10/10 for me, but this still fixed a lot of things that werent the best, like the interludes feel a LOT less invasive on this one.

Thank you for this! Honestly it gives me a great idea of how much it has changed without knowing. Only 8 songs done exactly the same as before is very little. I definitely think it’s worth it now

Yeah I’m satisfied with what I know now. I presume the stage has a very similar structure but maybe different set pieces will pop out at certain times that weren’t there before and such, I assume. I’ll guess I’ll find out in two months :oohrightthereyeah:
