AGAIN WHY DID THEY NOT RELEASE PHYSICAL COPIES OF ABRACADABRA??!!!!!

they let a potential no.1 and top 10 hit just slip out of their hands so easily...mad isn't even the word.

It would have been top 10 if it wasnt for the stagnant hot 100 trash. They need to make changes to the chart

Officially joins ARUTW and Bloody Mary as solo hits in the past decade.

Are we considering Million Reasons as a hit song?

Million Reasons carries Joanne's streaming numbers :emma: almost 1 billion on Spotify despite its performance on the platform these days.

Yes plus I’d include Hold My Hand as well. Hold My Hand is 2x Platinum eligible in the US and is Platinum in 9 countries, and Gold in 4 countries. It has 802M streams from Spotify + YouTube Music.

Yeah I'd classify it as a small hit back then but it's kinda forgotten now

and people say it's not a hit because it underperformed on one chart

i'd like to see 2.5 million people sing along to other supposed hits that outcharted abra

And it didn’t really even underperform on “that” Chart. 90% of similar artists’ singles peak on debut week fueled by streams and physical sales from their fans. Gaga fans call SL a flop because of its 2nd week drop, while focusing on Abracadabra’s #13 peak - ignoring the fact its release hype was split across 2 weeks and it would’ve easily been top 10 with physicals or without competing against Kendrick’s SB boost.

A solo dance-pop Gaga song spent 20 weeks on the Hot 100, hit #1 on U.S. Spotify, and reached #6 on Pop Radio. A #13 peak (from the Grammy premier) was worth it.

Yes. Hundreds of songs have been performed at the Super Bowl and only a handful have ever had such a huge resurgence.

And, it’s not like it went OUT-#4-OUT; it lasted 20 weeks, with most of those coming after the SB. It didn’t go recurrent until she released The Cure in mid-April.
