Yes, I am a week or so early, but real soon this forum will be flooded with twisted MAYHEM, tour posts, Dead Dancing, Wednesday, Aura etc etc.

So, Gaga wrapped up her Olympics performance and then decided to thank her adoring French fandom by sharing 2 official snippets from her seventh studio album aka LG7.

Nothing was the same after that glorious night. We could hear she was in her zone again with these 2 snippets. 

The way all the comments on the original thread were so damn positive! Agh she knew.

fun fact: you can hear the very faint "pay the toll" lyric in another hotel recording too. 

What a moment.

This day was insane! I remember the rush I felt when she announced on her stories that she would share some snippets! And then she accidentally played Stupid Love

SHE LOOKED SO HAPPYYYYYYYYYY !! Honestly, I think that was what made me optimistic and patient enough for the reminder of the build up to the album. Seeing her happy and smiling and vibing with her music always puts me to ease

This is one of my favorite memories from this era. The excitment and happyness I felt on this day is something I bring with me everyday. I was already obsessed with these low quality snippets and they became two of my absolute favorite songs ever when I heard them in full. 

Still can't believe Abracadabra was released as a single and had its moment in pop culture. I've been an Abra stan since day one

These immediately got me so hyped for the album. I thought we were getting a full dark rock album 

Not that I dont love Mayhem but wasn’t expecting the end result

I mean, a good chunk of the album does have that industrial, metallic sound still - Killah, Disease, Abracadabra, GOE, Notorious bean, The Beast

The rest are my fav songs on the album. I would kill for an entire 10+ track album that sounds like that. Oh and add Cant Stop The High
