I don't think Taylor will ever join the song, but it is the final song of the show now, could you imagine if she actually did? . Like, Bad Romance ends, and then just Taylor Swift shows up, it'd break the internet . 

But we couldn't even get a Beyoncé performance, so we better keep it down with the delusions

No because those songs wouldn't make sense with the story within the act (not that other sections make much more sense but still, that part is pretty consistent). The only way to make the piano section more flexible would be getting rid of Die With A Smile but that's almost impossible lol

Tbh I think she could swap out SUMMERBOY for a shortened funky version of Babylon or ROM right before BTW. Aside from that, I love most of the show. Not crazy about a few of the additions (JD, LG, Applause), but they’re executed really well and the looks are fierce. The revamped Act IV is basically perfect and the Phantom of the Opera gondola sequence, the lantern at the piano, the whole dark fantasy thing she’s got going on in that section? Probably one of my favorite things she’s done on any tour.

What is the connection with this song and Taylor Swift? She’s not on it.

You may like it or not, and that's fine, but such is the truth, that is how the majority feels.

I believe some people only push this song and the “resemblance” because Taylor is so successful right now. Otherwise it doesn’t make sense fan favorite being a “Taylor-sounding” song.
