You realize how outdated live performances as a form of promotion are, right?

You literally said it wasn’t impactful due to lack of live performances lmao. Not to mention that it’s an incredibly widely known and beloved song, so the idea that it’s had no impact is genuinely wild (and I say this as someone who’s not even really a fan of the song).

We have forgotten our public MANNERS

I honestly feel there is something broken with the way they do the Hot 100 right now.

Right ?? Like just a few years ago, it used to be so rare for songs to spend more than 25 weeks inside the top 10, those would only be mega hit known and loved by everyone and that we still remember to this day (such as I gotta feeling or Party Rock Anthem). Since 2019-2020, it feels like the charts have become completly stagnant and every song that gets lots streams and radio is able to hold in the top 10 for month even though they are nowhere near many other songs in terms of popularity. It just deligitimates those charts and the idea of a Mega hit simply dont exist anymore

The charts are based on streams, sales, and radio plays, so idk why yall think there’s something fishy going on. It’s just that the GP has gotten stale, they keep streaming the same few songs over and over again without giving other songs a real chance. It’s doing wonders for Gaga cause she has DWAS on lock in the top 10 for almost a whole year now
