So on January 30th in Japan it'll be January 29th here, giving her ~2 days to get back

Yes time zones are confusing. I’d she leafed right after the show and through a private jet she can land almost 2 full days before the ceremony. I stressed prematurely

-            The scale of everyone is wrong in ways an artist (that could make create something in this style) wouldn’t do. With Gaga being a giant (she’s the size of an entire floor), the people under her skirt being “normal” sized and the two girls on the floor being really small (incorrect perspective since they are closer to us than the people under the skirt, so they should be bigger then the people on the skirt).

-            The face of the dancers under the skirt are mostly a smudge (especially the two black haired ones in the middle and on the down left)

-            The handrails on the 3rd floor balcony are wonky, with different sizes and spacing between them, especially on the left.

-            Two of the pillars in the dark right below the “2026” on the poster are bent, the two bellow the spacing between “LADY” and “Tour” too, while every other aren’t

 

So, my bet is 100% AI, but I do think someone at least corrected it a little bit, either way, terrible and really disappointing to see coming from Gaga and her team…

I liked that she was bigger than everyone else in frame but the other scaling issues and of the set you mention do seem AI. As for the color I've been using AI for a few years and don't think I've ever had a yellow tint but I have custom added that years ago to posters I've made without AI (when using a red palette specifically) basically I'd imagine even if this was 100% created by a human they might also have added the warm tint, especially since there are candles throughout the scene. Let's say the image is 100% AI I would assume the text was added after by a human, it doesn't look good though

Not what I am saying. But architecture is just as much a design profession as graphical designer. AI is no where near what actual humans can do so imo it cant replace us in any branche yet

I’m confused because why do they list a whole group of artists in the caption and then use AI?  I don’t see the point of that.

'cause they might not be only talking about doing merch design but also visuals for the tour aka interludes and maybe the IRL thing they mention too?

I mean, at least hammers were more efficient and led to better quality buildings. AI art, on the other hand, looks like absolute **** and comes at the expense of hard working artists that are capable of producing better content not getting hired/compensated. Truly the worst of both worlds.

Really depends on how you use it. Just using it to do everything indeed leads to low quality stuff. Using it as a tool can even help good artist/designers.

AI-assist and AI-made are 2 different things.....

The art was made by an artist, the whole scene, the details, the colors, then they asked to generate the picture in a certain artstyle, so the artstyle was made by AI, to give it more gothic, dreamy look, the only mistake is the extra limb of the dancer, but in some sense, it's fitting the gothic horror theme, so it's a happy mistake  AI is now a tool in photoshop 

 

AI made is when I ask chatgpt to make my dog a water type pokemon and it does it from a picture of my dog.

Yeah, I understand that, but we’re talking about a pretty specific application here (image generation) for which it pretty notoriously cannot adequately substitute for the work of a real artist. Also: if you look at the image we’re talking about (MAYHEM Ball poster w/ the Abracadabra cage dress), you can pretty clearly see that her face has been distorted and that one of the dancers appears to have an extra arm; not to mention that even if it’s not AI, which I doubt tbh, it also just…looks bad lmao.
