Has anyone watched the first episode? First one came out last weekend on Netflix and it's beyond. Highly recommend checking it out, don't watch the trailer, it basically gives away every talking point of the first episode.
Animation style reminded me of Chainsaw Man, which is one of my favorite recent anime.
Hiiiiighly recommend it. Already changed my phone Lock Screen and bought the first three volumes of the manga, because I don't wanna wait the entire week for the second episode. MV5BZDkxYzM3MTYtZmFjMy00MDIxLTllNDctODQx

I kinda cried first episode, which I only contribute mildly to the fact that I was hungover.

Idk.. coming out stories always get to me somehow. And Yoshiki finally getting an answer to a question he probably had for so long now and then getting it from a demon or whatever Hikaru is now, someone who "knows" all the feelings but in an alien way can't attach real meaning to them, somehow got me. Also the grieving of it all without being able to place it or share it, since the body technically is still there.. the loneliness of it all - I could go on and on haha.

Im tempted to read the manga.

And very nice op and ed songs!

Yess, watched it this morning before work as well. Rn on volume 5 of the manga, by the end of 3 the author had a little disclaimer, saying the "slice of life" part he told in the beginning is coming to an end and he stats to focus more on the mystery/horror aspect - which he did. The anime kinda balances this from the beginning tho, the investigator doesn't appear in the manga until later.

Thanks for sharing... Interesting, i hope they continue balancing the slice of life aspect and the mystery/horror aspect till the end of the series.

Honestly, i would be okay if they put more slice of life than the other. I havent read the manga, but the mystery/horror side that ive seen in the anime so far feels stereotypical or cliche. Ive watched a lot of animes already in this genre, but you can correct me if there is some unique story in this that i should look forward to.

The BL side of this is what really pulls anime watchers, and casuals.
