Reasons for Top 3:

- Jacksonville, FL: super low population density and a lack of nightclubs and restaurants. Since everything is so spread out and public transit is nonexistent, you'll have to find ways to entertain yourself at home.

- Wichita, KS: There are a lot of outdoor activities to do, but without a bustling nightlife or cosmopolitan bent, you'll find there's little else to do.

- Corpus Christi, TX: Located way at the bottom of the state, there is little to do in Corpus Christi. With no award-winning restaurants and a lack of sports teams and concerts, you'll really have to love beach life if you want to live here.

The only thing Corpus Christi has going for it is Selena. It’s hot, humid and gusty as hell.

I mean this is basically most of the country but yeah, Jacksonville is butt lmao. It suffers mostly 'cause every other major city in this state is just better.

If you're gonna go there you might as well hop down to Daytona for the racing, sports life, or bike week.

Or keep going South to the Space Coast for rocket launches. Science, aviation, lots of museums, historical places, that stuff.

Go West from there to get to Orlando where there is a legit nightlife and also lots of theme parks and resorts.

Keep going West to get to Tampa where you'll get a real taste of Florida but still in a touristy (safe) package.

Orrrr keep going South to Miami for the hotties and beaches and it's also a stones throw away from the Everglades.

Even further South and you'll get to the Keys which is a gorgeous place to relax, go snorkeling/diving, some of the best tropical real estate on the planet down there.

Jacksonville is a saltine on a table full of Chromatica Oreos.

Phoenix is hands down the most boring city I’ve ever been to.  Glad to see it on the list.

In my opinion, we go to Corpus Christi precisely for the beaches and to recover from the hustle and bustle of everyday big city life. The city is in front of Padre Island. Few people know this, but Padre Island is the second largest island in the contiguous USA, excluding Hawaii and Alaska, after New York's Long Island. While Long Island is cold and urbanized, Padre Island is warm and natural. I find Padre Island very beautiful, very wonderful, and Corpus Christi is the local metropolis where you can go after a day at the beach, and I didn't find it boring.  There are affordable restaurants, and precisely because there are no award-winning restaurants, it's a good place. Imagine if there were award-winning restaurants there, they would be much more expensive, because they would translate their fame into price surges.  I think Corpus Christi is a good place for a two-week vacation, a city that offers entertainment and a sense of purpose, relaxation and an alternative to Hawaii which is a long way. It may be that when you live there permanently all year round, it might not be as exciting as other big cities, in relative terms.

Yeah, Florida is a very decentralized state. Jacksonville is the largest city, while Miami is the largest urban area. Tallahassee, the capital, is only the ninth-largest city, but beyond politics, it is also important for education and science. Then there are other iconic cities like Orlando or Cape Coral with its canals. And although Orlando isn't directly on the ocean, it's a huge tourist hotspot, which shows that Florida also has something to offer inland.

Jacksonville is simply a pop diva at a gala of divas, all wearing such extravagant dresses that Jacksonville doesn't stand out. Every corner of Florida has something to offer, and Florida isn't dominated by a single city, unlike Massachusetts, where almost everything is centered on Boston, and Boston is the flagship.
