Billie stans, tell me I'm wrong

Hi  

Lately I've been getting much more into miss Eyelash. I've always been a casual fan but now I'm playing her music for hours at a time at work or while I'm just hanging out.

Naturally, I'd like to see her in concert some day but...am I missing something?  

Her shows look so minimalist that it's lowkey boring  one outfit (just baggy clothes at that), no real visuals, basic stages, even the lights are pretty generic...not something I'd expect from one of the biggest artists out there....

And does she lip sync? Or does she sing along to the studio track? Or what? 'Cause in some videos it definitely sounds like she's live and in others there's no mistaking the fact that it's just the studio vocals 

So for those of you that have seen her, was it "wow the videos really don't do it justice " or "yeah, it's pretty much just her bouncing around stage while some lights blink and her songs play "

Not a Billie stan, but I go to a **** tonne of concerts these days. 
On the lipsyncing comment, it feels like pop singers using playback vocals is the most prevalent it's ever been. I don't see why Billie would be exempt from that since it now seems like the industry norm rather than it previously being used a rest tool by older acts & long shows.

but if you go to a billie concert expecting to have a beyonce, Gaga or Madonna experiencia with production, choreography and lots of different outfits then you shouldnt go lol

She doesn't lip synch, and she doesn't do costume change either. Her shows solely about her music, no theatrics. There might be stage effects such as pyro.
It is super fun. I attended her shows 4 times since 2019. 2 in Cali, and 2 in Atlanta last year.

Honestly only Billie can do basically nothing and get away with it because her stage presence is so good, her music is so good and cus it’s Billie

I mean, her stage production is quite impressive. I saw her at Glastonbury in 2022, and I came away being weirdly reminded of early Gaga.
