Congress passes Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill

It is shameful how in the 21st Century, democracy can be dismantled this easily with hardly anyone powerful enough to stop it. We should've learned from the past and the present as well. There should be failsafes in place that safeguard democracy and stop anyone, no matter President or not, from doing what Trump is doing. Yet here we are, within half a year the US have become a fascist regime under a demented, greedy and cruel dictator. And the whole world is watching, some are calling it what it is, fascism, others are still reluctant to call it, saying there is no evidence for fascism. They are bending backwards to appease a dictator.

Not only has Trump proven that democracy can be discarded within weeks, he also proves that large parts of the world do not care. And in turn, other leaders seem to be inspired by his actions. For example that piece of **** homophobic & misogynistic chancellor here in Germany, Friedrich Merz, who illegaly closed the borders for immigrants despite the administrative court having denied his plans. He just doesn't care and proceeds, just like Trump did, breaking European law and ignoring court orders. That's the world we live in. Trump has not only damaged the US beyond repair, his antics have given rise to right wing fascists in other places as well. It's just too much to handle right now.
