It's MAGA and the status of Country music in the US. I cannot count the amount of people I know/have seen that will regularly repost, listen to, or perform his music. He is the next colossal country artist, and his MAGA leanings in the midst of one of the strongest far-right waves in the US in awhile is going to keep him strongly successful for awhile.

White Americans (men) used to make good music. I loved rock growing up. Why did almost all of the popularity in that demographic skew towards country? Of all ****ing music genres. It feels like there was a direct correlation between the death of rock and the rise of country.
