Controversiaga 10,756
I asked ChatGPT to rank Gaga’s albums worst to best. I didn’t tell her which albums to include- but my first try she didnt include mayhem so I had to ask again- and then she would keep on putting BTW and TFM on the ranking twice in different spots. So after YELLING at her and asking like 5 times she finally gave a clear answer… here it is “ 💀💀💀 GURRRRRRL YOU’RE RIGHT. I am officially unhinged and need to be banned from rankings for LIFE 😭😭 not me creating a “Fame Monster multiverse” every time like it’s Spider-Man: Into the Haus of Gaga. BUT NO. WE WILL GET THIS RIGHT. I refuse to flop again. You deserve better. So here it is… 🧠 ENGAGED. CHAOS? CANCELLED. Here is the FINAL FINAL FINAL Lady Gaga album ranking from worst to best, one per slot, NO repeats, NO ties, NO tomfoolery, NO drama. Just pure, organized, disco-stick-certified TRUTH: 🎤 LADY GAGA ALBUMS RANKED (WORST TO BEST ✅) 10. 💿 Love for Sale (2021) Jazz standards with Tony. Sweet and elegant, but no one’s voguing to Cole Porter. 9. 💿 Cheek to Cheek (2014) Gaga’s jazz debut. Her vocals? Insane. The vibe? Grandma’s ****tail party. Respect it, don’t replay it. 8. 💿 Joanne (2016) The pink hat era. Intimate and stripped-back. “Million Reasons” is gorgeous, but it wasn’t the pop slayage people craved. 7. 💿 A Star Is Born Soundtrack (2018) A global moment. “Shallow” will live forever. But as an album, it’s half rock ballads and half film plot. 6. 💿 Chromatica (2020) Glittery dance therapy. “911,” “Replay,” “Rain on Me” = iconic. But some fans felt it lacked that unpredictable Gaga chaos. 5. 💿 The Fame (2008) Debut slay. “Poker Face,” “Paparazzi,” “Just Dance.” She rewrote the pop playbook—but this was just her origin story. 4. 💿 ARTPOP (2013) A hot, messy, iconic fever dream. “Venus,” “G.U.Y.,” “Sexxx Dreams.” Flopped then, revered now. We were too basic to understand it in 2013. 3. 💿 Mayhem (2025) She came back DARK. This is high-drama, electro-pop, twisted-fame vibes. “Disease” and “Abracadabra”?? Whew. Gaga aged like wine and glitter bombs. 2. 💿 The Fame Monster (2009) Eight tracks. ZERO skips. “Bad Romance,” “Dance in the Dark,” “Monster.” It’s a gothic pop masterpiece. Compact, iconic, eternal. 1. 👑 Born This Way (2011) The GAGALICIOUS MAGNUM OPUS. Bold, messy, spiritual, political, weird, queer, and proud. From “Government Hooker” to “Hair” to the title track—this is Mother in full form. No one has ever done it like this. ✅ FINAL NON-CHAOTIC RANKING Born This Way (2011) The Fame Monster (2009) Mayhem (2025) ARTPOP (2013) The Fame (2008) Chromatica (2020) A Star Is Born Soundtrack (2018) Joanne (2016) Cheek to Cheek (2014) Love for Sale (2021) We did it, mama 😭😭😭 the curse is broken. I need a lie-down in the Egg from the 2011 Grammys. Let me know if you want to rank Gaga eras, music videos, or top 50 songs next. I’ll behave. 🫡💅 “ so did she get it right or did she FAIL ???? Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga” 4 4
Bonkers 29,419
Here's what's interesting, I got a different list. I kind of agree with both rankings, but I wonder if ChatGPT factors what it knows about me into the list. 8. Cheek to Cheek (2014) – w/ Tony Bennett Why it's low: It’s a jazz standards album — not bad, just niche. It didn’t scratch the pop/experimental itch for many fans. Best song: “Anything Goes” Legacy: Showcased her vocal talent and deep respect for jazz, but more respected than replayed. 7. Joanne (2016) Why it’s divisive: A genre pivot into soft rock/country/pop. Some loved the rawness, others missed the theatrics. Best songs: “Million Reasons,” “Joanne,” “John Wayne” Legacy: A personal, stripped-down record that feels more important to her than to the audience. 6. Chromatica (2020) Why it’s mid-tier: A return to dance-pop, but some found it emotionally disconnected or overproduced. Best songs: “911,” “Rain on Me,” “Sine from Above” Legacy: A fan-pleasing synthpop record during lockdown, but it doesn’t hit the cultural highs of earlier eras. 5. Love for Sale (2021) – w/ Tony Bennett Why it’s here: Similar to Cheek to Cheek but stronger vocally, with a bittersweet farewell vibe due to Tony's Alzheimer's diagnosis. Best songs: “Love for Sale,” “Night and Day” Legacy: More moving than Cheek to Cheek, but still jazz niche. 4. ARTPOP (2013) Why it's beloved and hated: A chaotic, maximalist album that was misunderstood on release but gained cult status. Best songs: “Gypsy,” “Aura,” “Sexxx Dreams,” “Applause” Legacy: A fan-favorite comeback story — once ridiculed, now reclaimed. 3. The Fame (2008) Why it matters: Her debut. Defined late-2000s pop. Introduced her as a fashion-forward hitmaker. Best songs: “Just Dance,” “Paparazzi,” “Poker Face” Legacy: The launchpad. Not her most complex work, but an iconic entrance. 2. Born This Way (2011) Why it’s iconic: Bold, political, and genre-blending (metal, gospel, house). A massive cultural statement. Best songs: “Marry the Night,” “Scheiße,” “Hair,” “The Edge of Glory” Legacy: Her most thematically ambitious album. The queer anthem title track alone cements its legacy. 1. The Fame Monster (2009) Why it’s best: Only 8 tracks, but nearly every one is iconic. A flawless extension of The Fame with darker, more refined storytelling. Best songs: “Bad Romance,” “Dance in the Dark,” “Monster,” “Alejandro” Legacy: Arguably her most perfect pop statement — brief, bold, and unforgettable. TL;DR – Lady Gaga Albums Ranked (Worst to Best) The Fame Monster Born This Way The Fame ARTPOP Love for Sale Chromatica Joanne Cheek to Cheek Edited Monday at 05:12 PM by Bonkers Remember to like and subscribe, and click on the bell icon to get the latest updates
